DRAWING THE LINE BETWEEN STYLE AND DURABILITY: THE PERFECT SHOE OF 2022.

Here at Shoe Lab, we are shoe lovers... and I'm sure that if you're reading this, you most likely are too! So, it's only right to discuss the perfect shoe of the year and why.

Our favourite shoe (looks wise) that come into Shoe Lab are the Dior B22's. They may not necessarily be the most durable, but we love the style of them. The B22 sneakers take inspiration from retro running styles. The chunky low-top silhouette is defined by a calfskin and mesh-panelled upper set on a sculpted sole. The mesh tongue and heel counter are accented with nylon ribbons while a 'Dior' logo adorns the side. 



It is important however to draw the line between popular shoes and durable shoes. A brand which has stood out to us for its durability is New Balance - the quality is on point and they are reliable and dependent. A great factor about New Balance is that they don't need breaking-in time, they are known to be extra comfy! A trending New Balance shoe at the moment are the 550's which we have cleaned a few of. New Balance shoes as a whole always seem to need less work doing to them when they come into the lab.
